A graduate of the New York Film Academy, Mateo has been in the film industry since 2013. He began his career as a camera assistant, where he spent over a decade perfecting his craft before transitioning to the role of cinematographer. His extensive experience has equipped him with the skills and vision to bring stories to life in captivating ways. As a proud member of the International Cinematographers Guild, Mateo has worked on an impressive range of projects, including Blue Bloods (CBS), The Deuce (HBO), Modern Love (Amazon), Power (STARZ), Shades of Blue(CBS), and feature films such as Cabrini, and Guns Up.
